Designing Urban Habitats for Wildlife and People:

As part of the Coalition for a Livable Future’s design team, the Institute, works to bring together experts in urban design and environmental protection to demonstrate how the region can develop vibrant neighborhoods while protecting wildlife habitat and reducing overall impacts on the environment.

 

Stormwater treatment facilities such as this parking lot swale will make a significant impact on our ability to maintain the ecological integrity of streams and wetlands a the city-wide and regional scales.
